The Best of the Best! 2 Time Olympian Kendrick Farris will help the entire weekend as Master of Ceremonies. Olympian Cara Heads will be in attendance. Outlaw Open Crossfit competitors include: Camille Leblanc, Tanya Fortunato, Kristan Clever, Pat Barber, and MANY more! As spectators and fans of our sport, come learn, shop, and enjoy some of the finest athletic performances and companies the USA has to offer!

The 2012SHPEXPO also features a list of renowned speakers, exhibitors, demonstrations and activities relating to strength and extreme levels of human performance. The promoters of this event are planning to make the SHPEXPO an annual affair. The Coachella Valley boast some of the greatest annual events in the country: Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Stagecoach Country Music Festival, The BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament, The Palm Springs International Film Festival, The Kraft Nabisco LPGA Tournament, and The Humana Challenge Golf Tournament are examples of it’s rich tradition to support and grow major annual events.
In addition to Palm Springs being one of top resort communities in the World, where sunny skies and 75 degree weather is the norm in December-May. The venue for the event, The Palm Springs Convention Center and the host hotel, The Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel are picturesque, modern and well appointed. The shops and restaurants in downtown Palm Springs are a 5 minute walk from the venue/hotel and the beautiful Palm Springs International Airport is a mile and a half way. The SHP Expo could not be more proud to announce that Kendrick Farris will be at our event! After returning from the London 2012 Olympics, we jumped on the opportunity to have Kendrick’s presence. Though he won’t be competing, Kendrick will help with commentary throughout the competition, be the Master of Ceremonies for the official SHP Expo Party, and hold a meet and greet/ autograph signing on Sunday. Cara Heads enjoyed an unprecedented and successful 18-year career as an Olympic weightlifter, earning 8 national championship titles, setting 2 American records, and representing the U.S. at 5 world championships. Cara also owns the highly coveted athletic title of Olympian as a part of the 2000 Olympic Team in Sydney and became the first and only African-American female to represent the U.S. in the Olympics in women’s weightlifting.
